Years - 2002 - present
In 2002, Leyla came to Canada and was smitten by the majestic Rocky Mountains. Eager to take her life in a new direction, and teach others, she pursued a Certificate in Vocal and Presentation Arts (Vancouver Film School, 2003).
Her keen eyes and ears, professional experience as a TV host, observance of Canadian culture and classical theatre training (Shakespeare) were essential in designing and developing a top-flight presentation skills coaching program for business executives, managers and entrepreneurs.

Leyla remains true to her performing past, with regular community concerts. Simcha Live!. She is also on the steering committee of the Vancouver Downtown Jewish Community, and is the co-host and musical director of Simcha Live!
The Turkish Years

Award-winning TV host, director, composer and emcee, Leyla Tekul exceptional 25-year career in communications and performing arts still has fans in her native Turkey.
For 12 years, an energetic and popular Leyla was atop the Turkish airwaves with her own show – The Leyla Tekul Show — and numerous others which spanned art, business and politics (High Heels, Boiling Point, The Market is Yours, The Pen and the Word; 1989-2001). She speaks English, French, German and Turkish.
Highly-regarded by the European business community, Leyla worked as senior copywriter with Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann Erickson and Grey Advertising, where she created campaigns, acted, sang, composed and performed voiceovers for 100+ TV commercials (i.e., Procter & Gamble, Cadbury-Schweppes; and Colgate-Palmolive. Bosh, Cadbury, Shell) (projects from 1987-2000).
An Emcee for 100+ special events and company anniversaries (i.e., Bosch, Bristol Myers Squibb, Alcatel, Arthur Andersen), Leyla firmly established her professional reputation off the TV screen. She emceed the World Wildlife Fund Ball which was attended by HRH Prince Philip (1997), the Mediterranean Film Festival, and the European Association of State Lotteries and
Lottos.
Leyla first rose to prominence with lead roles in dramas and musicals such as Comedy of Errors,
Evita, Fiddler on the Roof and Godspell in Germany and Austria (late 1970s). Her performances were featured at the Salzburg Music Festival. She has a BA in Acting (University of Vienna).
